Why couldn't you just have reported the post to the mods, and let them delete them quietly?

I deleted the thread and banned the poster. Thanks for posting this, but please be aware you can report threads/posts like that by clicking the little red triangle icon at the top of a post. A mod will get on it very quickly.

You should be called the Super Astronomer or something. Banning spammers at the speed of light! (Or maybe just .6 C or so...)
