It sounds interesting, but I'm not sure how cost effective it would be for commercial use. For now, the cost of launching a satellite is HUGE, and even if this technology can boast an efficiency rating of 80%, that may not be enough to offset the costs of launching the satellite.
If we can get the costs of launching something into space down, then it may be a more promising solution.
Ironically, one way to drop the costs of launches is to reduce the costs of producing hydrogen. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif
