I'm a noob. Please feel free to flame me.
Is anyone aware of a more-or-less comprehensive debunking of this article (http://www.amasci.com/freenrg/evolv.txt) and the associated book (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/1857020278/qid=1128362139/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_0_1/026-1969175-1242019)?
I read the book many years ago as someone uneducated. I found much of it fairly sensible. I since read another book by this author which (from memory) contained some fairly serious errors or omissions.
Dawkins slated the book in the New Scientist. A few years later, a New Scientist article appeared that questioned the position that natural selection is the only mechanism of evolution, some of which was in line with Milton's arguments.
Cheers,
Tolstoy
