There are several concerns, but it was heavy alert-traffic that caused this action.

Post edit: A recent alert questioned whether someone can get suspended merely for getting many alerts. The answer is yes, but it will be a short suspension, and if it is determined that the suspension was unwarranted on any rule, it will not count against the suspended poster in his history. We do these things to create temporary peace while we sort things out. BTW, we have also suspended people for posting many unwarranted alerts. This is not a free way to silence your opponents.

In the case of CONSPIRACY REALIST we are still on the fence about what to do.

We have rules and they are pretty simple to follow. One of them is that embedded images should not be over 100k in physical size. So large embedded images tend to be changed into links.

The first time is not usually given an infraction, as it can be accidental; but preearth has, multiple times, changed a link back into a url; re-embedding a large image. That's earned two infractions, and gives some time off.
