yellow text box thingies

Is there a way to turn off the yellow text boxes that pop up when I pass my cursor over a Forum topic link? I find it distracting and would like to turn that option off for the board, if possible.

Heh, --- I just posted in a different thread that I loved them and wanted to keep them from disappearing after a few seconds as they currently do. If this isn't a user default, maybe we'll need the board to vote!

I like them because you can quickly scan for interesting threads --- the titles are not always enough information.
