Instrument: 40mm f/10 Coronado PST (Personal Solar Telescope)
Oculars: 8-24mm Vixen zoom eyepiece, 12mm CEMAX, 7mm Nagler Type 6, and a 2x Celestron Ultima Barlow lens with the 7 and 12mm eyepieces
I finally had a chance to do some H-alpha observing again this afternoon. There were two notable prominences and a number of smaller ones as well as three long filaments, one of which curved around to form almost a complete circle. The prominence on the trailing limb extended farther from the chromosphere while the one on the leading limb had a broader base. Sunspot 715 was situated about a sixth of the way in from the trailing limb.
The seeing was good enough to warrant Barlowing the 7mm Nagler T6 for a magnification of 114x.
