forgive me for my ignorance but i'm just beginning to learn to figure out with my own eyes the named constellations. just recently, I was able to figure out the centaurus constellation but only after I was able to spot the CRUX because of so many stars that are very near or even within the centaur. These stars are even brighter than those of centaur. Are these stars really not part of any constellation? Are they really unnamed. Im sure they are catalogued somewhere as alphanumeric code. I hope there's someone who could enlighten me on this. Also, I live just below the equator and the southern hemisphere skymap is not sufficient. I read a long time ago in skymaps.com that there would be a map for those near the equator. is this coming soon? Very many thanks to those who would spend their time answering my querry.
