Okay, asides from what is usually found in school text books, what else is known about Pluto and what are folks expecting/hoping will be found?

pluto has a darkside like our Moon ^^ and I hope we can find life on Pluto as well.

Whats the likelihood of life existing on Pluto??? Tell me someone, is it true that Charon has a synchronous orbit with Pluto?

Yes it is ^^ Pluto and Charon tidally locked in a synchronous orbit. Most of the twin planet always like that I guess...

Life on Pluto!?! I think we'd be as likely to find life on Pluto as we'd be to find life on the surface of the Sun! ie. Not Very Likely!
