My girlfriend's model of a vw beetle just got smashed by one of her roomates and she cherrished that model dearly. Altho its not a regular model, she bought it in the islands at martinique. It was vw beetle made out of clay and it was hand painted with a surf board and other similar items on it. If any of you are from there or know how to get one a like or similar would you please let me know. Thanks a bunch!

I'd also try contacting the VW Beetle Club (or whatever it's known by) because you can bet those guys will know where to get one.

Trust me, I used to drive a Citroen 2CV and they (almost?) generate the same level of avid fanaticism :)
