Ummmm... I'm not LOL This reminds me of a young Matthew Broderick in WarGames...
TEACHER: Who first suggested the idea of asexual reproduction, or the concept of reproduction without sex?
BRODERICK: Er, your wife?

LOL Dips, I think we could reduce the question to "Are There Aliens".

Yes, and they are ALL asexual (this topic is stupid and I'm contemplating deleting it).

Obviously aliens aren't asexual.... Kashi is the perfect example of alien offsrping. This particular species of alien looks like evil corn on the cob.

We know nothing about aliens.
For all we know they maybe sexual, but with other conceptions of sex.
It is very difficult for a carbon based life form to reproduce asexually if it is big and active.

No you're incorrect. ALL aliens reproduce asexually.
Who started this topic?

Can you show proof of aliens and of their sexual or asexual orientatin? Anything?

I think that the variation when it comes to reproduction must be great when considering how many species there might be out there...

Yes, before this topic gets deleted, I'm very curious to know why aliens *must* be asexual...
Look at it this way... to an alien, we're the aliens... right? And we're not asexual... so why would aliens be asexual if we're not??

I don't know about that. Did you read DippyHippy's one about Matthew Broderick? I think that's pretty funny. :D

Sex is required for reproduction. I understood that the microbes just bumping against each other was the start of sex.

Sex is required for reproduction.
Not so. Many organisms reproduce without it.
