Is HST like the Mapes?

If a rocket engine can be attached to HST to de-orbit it why can't one be attached to boost it to a higher orbit
so that in some future curator can retrieve the telescope for display at a lunar "outdoor" museum?

Maybe they could try and park it in some sort of lunar orbit? At an L point perhaps?

If I remember correctly, Hubble's electronics would be fried if it was lifted above the Van Allen belts.
