The NMX04-1A Prototype is only going up for sale to boost funding for the next phase of our research and development wherein we will build additional prototypes, possibly for Arena Fighting.

It was not my original intention to sell the NMX04-1A and it only comes to this due to lack of time and the difficulties in obtaining investment.

2 days left, no bids. Seems like a person who would pay $40,000 would want to see it in action first.

I see nothing in the auction details to indicate that the "Mecha" actually works in any sense.

I suspect that he realized that building it would take more time, money, and talent than he had, and he's trying to get back some of the money he spent on it.
