Star 'gnome' is nuclear surprise (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/4319061.stm)


The discovery is fascinating, say scientists, because it shows how small an object can be and still trigger the nuclear reactions for sunshine.

Looks like Arthur C. Clarke was close but didn't have a cigar.

What is interesting is that although OGLE-TR-122B is a mere 16% larger than Jupiter, it is actually 96 times more massive.

I'd guess because all the various news (general astronomy, Mars, etc.) would be in one forum and you'd still have to search through the whole thing.

Don't feel bad, we've all been ToSeeked. The only honor higher than being ToSeeked is to ToSeek ToSeek. :wink:

I'll just sit on a science/astronomy news site hitting refresh every 5 seconds just so i can ToSeek ToSeek... Its a plan :D
