On the St Louis Sports Forum, poster "BeerGut - Beer-swilling Republican" has written a lenghty (so lengthy that he could be Jayīs twin ! /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif ..) May 25, 2002 post about his encounter with British Moon Hoax believer "James".
It is well-written and interesting reading.
A short quote from the post at:

.... goes like this:
"Were the Apollo moon landings faked? (non-bb)
The reason I say that is because I was introduced to a British man at a book convention recently in Tulsa who is writing a book and showed me 20-some pictures - actual NASA pictures - that looked authentic until he took the time to point them out to me. The guy overheard me telling the book dealer (I was on the hunt for some rare Phillip K. Dick short story collections) that I was a reporter, and he told me that it was "my duty" to write a story about what he was about to say to me. I tried to disengage him, but the little guy was such a charmer that I found myself wanting to write something about my encounter (actualy, more about *him* and his odd behavior than what he was postulating at the time.).
But what he said *does* make 'ya think, and a few times I had chills running up and down my spine."
