expect Nancy to try to cite this as "evidence" for, well, something or other nefarious:

http://www.cnn.com/2004/US/12/08/mountain.crash.ap/index.html

sadly, there's no simple human tradgedy not fit for woo-woo fodder... what's the betting this shows up in the next couple of days?

No doubt they were run off the road by an unmarked black car before they could leak their secrets and let the world know of the coming disaster.

That or the fact that sometimes cars crash.

Try right now on GLP. (http://www.godlikeproductions.com/bbs/message.php?page=1&topic=3&message=50991&mpage=1&s howdate=12/8/04) They are certainly prompt, if nothing else.

When I saw the article link in General Astronomy, I thought about what the HB/woo^2 take would be on it but felt too bad to ask.

I can't believe it (well, yes I can!). This morning when I read that report the thought ran through my head "they're going to use this as an example of how scientists who know too much are being bumped off". I was right! :o

I've just checked out the GLP link. I think that's the last time I'll be doing that. At one time I thought about contributing to it, but it's basically a large cess pool. You can't begin to clean it out, so there's no point in risking getting dirty.

I didn't know any of the people who were killed in the crash, so I can't say I'm any more affected than I would be by any other death. But I am disgusted by the attitudes expressed by the GLP members.

Once again the GLPers remind one of another group that gets excited over the deaths of many innocent people when these events supposedly portend greater things. (http://www.altpressonline.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=119)

Where's that "barf" smilie?

A-ha!
