On a website called Academic Earth, which contains entire courses of lectures from American Universities videoed. There's 2 Astronomy Courses.
Introduction to Astrophysics from Yale and Astrobiology and Space Exploration from Stanford.

I've watched 2/3 of the astrophysics intro and it's REALLY interesting and not madly complicated. It covers a lot of up to date topics, such as the methods of detecting planetary transits, which is a hot topic at the moment. Some basic math and there's a lot of explaining how the things that are known came to be known.
