View Full Version : Fire in Sonoma County
Right up where I live is a huge fire that has been raging out of control for a couple of days...18,000 acres anc climbing. We're getting ash from it where I live.
I'm surprised that Nancy hasn't put it on her list of "signs" yet.

Her usual position is to say the evil gubmint is starting such fires (probably with a space-based laser weapon) to distract the populice from the approach of PX :^o

Yeah, that's what I'd imagine she'd say.
Although, we're all much too clever to fall for a trick like that...
Of course. What Nancy doesn't know, though, is that the upcoming lunar eclipse is really really just a ploy by the Russian-Chinese Comunist Aliance to distract people from the even larger planet Y that's racing in from the North in the continuing war between the X's and Y's for rogue planetary dominance. The battle is predicted to last approximately 72 minutes, and will end with the top fighter pilots in the Y's fleet firing proto-nukes into a volcano on Planet X, destroying the planet in an awesome fireball while humanity, in all its ignorance, looks at the pretty red (Soviet!?!?) moon.

How can there be an eclipse? The Earth is stopped in its orbit. Obviously, the Moon isn't really there. Maybe the PTB will project an eclipse hologram.
The Zetas will push the Moon into position. That way, when it starts raining Planet Ex, we won't see it coming, and will be caught totally off guard in a huge moment of spiritual growth. Just like when the Enterprise crashed in ST2.

I'm assuming that ST means Star Trek. If this is the case, the Enterprise didn't crash until ST3. And even then she didn't really crash... she exploded.
Ok. I admit it. I have no life. 8-[

I thought the war was between the Xs and the Os. At least that's what Coach always said.

Star Trek ships asplode on a regular basis. The whole of the Federation's economic basis seems to be in the building of, reparing of and scrapping of starships.
I blame the Zetas.

ST V - Final Frontier: NCC-1701-A. No damage I recall.

Nope. She was hit by a Klingon torpedo, which knocked the transporters offline, leaving kirk stranded on a planet running from an alien that thought it was god. And a shuttle craft was damaged when making an emergency landing.
I'll just shut up now. :o

That aside from the fact that the USS Ti-ho, rechristened USS Enterprise, was a lemon to begin with. Anyone catch the Max Headroom version of the "Red Alert" at the beginning? Turbolift doors not functioning among other things. According to the book, when she left Earth orbit in Star Trek IV at the end, she made it to Jupiter's orbit before breaking down and having to be towed back to spacedock where we first saw her in ST:V.

According to the Next Generation Tech manual is was the U.S.S. Yorktown that was rechristened. The Ti-Ho was mentioned in Mr. Scott's Guide to the Enterprise. In either case, maybe after her rechristening she was still suffering from the ill effects of the alien probe (or was the alien probe really Planet X :o )

ST IV - Voyage Home: No Federation Ship. Kingon Bird of Prey crashes on landing on Earth.
No Federation ship? No Federation ship?!? What do you call that Miranda-class vessel that got disabled by the passing Alien Probe? What do you call that entire spacedock full of Federation starships, including the Excelsior and the new NCC-1701-A Enterprise?!
And what's the modern U.S.S. Enterprise aircraft carrier, if not a ship belonging to the U.S. Federal government?

If we have a Planet X and a Planet Y, does that mean we have a boy solar system. Cause a girl solar system would have two X's. #-o

Well, yeah, however the A is only in it for the last few minutes (not long enough to really count) and the other's weren't relevant to the list (otherwise I'd have had to list every single one in the battle with the Borg at the start of First Contact, plus the ones that were damaged or destroyed in I, II, III, and IX at least) so as far as the list goes, I'm sticking to my guns.
And the Aircraft Carrier is a FEDERAL ship, not a FEDERATION one. :P
