I recently upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 and discovered at least one problem so far (after using it for a week now).
The problem was in the browser - the Java Script was not working and/or defective in the browser that came with the upgrade (IE 8).
So I Googled "Java Script" and one result was about the browser program being defective. It was explained how and a "fix" was offered (free) with a scan and repair. I bit the bullet and ran the free part and was amazed that the fix worked! The rest of the repair offer concerned "making your computer run more effeciently", etc., so didn't opt for the $40 cost of the rest of the program. This download was from "FixCleaner".
Overall, I don't like the new Windows 7 but like previous Windows upgrades, it seems the newer version always has new problems though the older ones were supposidly fixed. Why does this always seem to happen? Job security for the developers:evil:
So how about you? If you upgraded or replaced your service pack, what were your results?
