Nancy's latest babble. Joo have been warned. :o (http://www.zetatalk.com/index/zeta102.htm)
For those of you who do not want your heads to explode --
She says basically that winter constellations are in the nighttime sky in the summer, but you cannot see them due to "light pollution" and the same with summer constellations in the nighttime winter sky.

Does she ever poke her head out from her bunker to verify her ramblings? ](*,) I look at the constellations every clear night and they seem to be progressing with the seasons as you would expect.
How does the "light pollution" selectively mask certain constellations but not others? :-k

Actually I find all of her explanations very consistent.... consistently wrong, but consistent. Her knowledge of visual astronomy is about equal to her knowledge of everything else. I guess you could say she's pitching a perfect game, no runs, no hits, all errors. :-?

A winter constellation IS in the sky during the summer. Of course, it's there during the daytime so we can't see it.
(OK, let me just make one thing perfectly clear. I DO NOT believe any of Nancy's beliefs. However, I'd rather debunk her mistakes, not what she happens to get right.)
I didn't see where she said that the winter constellations are in the summer nighttime sky. She's just saying that a constellation overhead in winter can be seen in the nighttime sky in the summer, which is true.
(I thought I needed to edit this, but I realized that Nancy's poor sentence structure just had me confused for a minute.)

Well, yes, the sun is a source of a lot of light pollution.

Nancy's site most serious! :-k
Constellations Out of Place (http://www.zetatalk.com/index/earthrv8.htm)
Did any one notice that the star Arcturus came up too early last night? It isnīt supposed to come up until 11 and it came up at about 10:20. Or for May 2004 info: Moon Late (http://www.zetatalk.com/index/earthm22.htm)
From my obervations something is seriously off here. When I got up to use the bathroom at 5 AM the moon was up but very low in the sky. I mean really, how can anyone make fun of that? #-o
And on an even more serious note: Moons of Mars (http://zetatalk3.com/awaken/a70.htm)
It is rumored that one of the moons of Mars, Phobos, is inhabited by the giant hominoids from the 12th Planet, and this rumor is correct. Yup, nothing but straightforward facts here. (http://www.chipman.org/starhoax/giant_phobos.jpg) :)

Bloody ridiculous.
I'm starting to think that maybe she's not mentally ill, just making things up.

She knows as much about celestial mechanics as my grandmother knows of Mongolian literature.

Lol its as if shes talking about an Earth rumour like "Beckham might divorce Posh" or "the Pope to attend a celebrity wedding".
Would be weird though to see these humanoids living on a captured asteroid. It reminds me of the Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy. When this guy comes up with a theory of a planet where all the ball-point pens live. And when he gave the co-ordinates, they found an asteroid inhabited by an old man who kept saying that nothing was true, although he was later found to be lying  .

To go along with AstroRockHunter (I wonder...will success spoil him?), to a point, Nancy's right...ohhhhhhh, typing that was so painful...
Along with the very careful non-specificity of her statement, we must remember those circumpolar constellations which are visible all night long, all year long, just in different orientations depending on time of year/night.
Of course, none of this validates any of her Planet X bullsqueezin's in any way, shape or form...but watch her try it anyway. :^o [-X [-(

The small sprinklings of truth and reality in nancy's writings only help contrast with the rest. :)

OMG... I think I just lost a couple of IQ points. May I have some of the pills they're taking? :-? Gyad, when Mars is colonized and there are transmitters of Phobos I wonder if the woo-woos will blame the gigant humanoids for the static on their holo-TVs? #-o
