Columbia Disaster Error

This morning my local Fox (I prefer Faux) channel did a story on remembering the Columbia shuttle disaster. They stated that foam coming off the orbiter during re-entry caused the accident. Of course it was actually foam from the external tank on liftoff that was the cause. I hope that story was written locally, and not nationally distributed like that.

At least they had something. I haven't heard anything about the anniversary so far today.

Yeah it was only a 10-second story and the only thing they got right was the shuttle's name. They showed the shot of it breaking up. It's still painful for me to watch footage of that or the Challenger disaster. Neither should have happened.
