..... To have 400 times earth gravity in a room, it must have the mass as condensed as a white dwarf star.... (Recalled from childhood, a very small piece (perhaps 1 cm^3) would have a mass of an automobile.)

It is quite bogus like that; than again, it is pure fantasy.

Then again, Dragonball Z had characters powerful enough to destroy entire planets, so I don't think you should worry about that.

Not necessarily, just have a stoutly built space habitat rotate at a high rate. A wheel or cylinder with a diameter of two kilometers and making approx. 19 rotations per min. would give you 400 gees at the rim.

Really, though, the reaction-less flying, crashing through mountains without getting hurt, and violations of the conservation of energy* are more egregious than this.

*Just where do they get the energy to do their blasts, all their flying and other physical feats? They'd have to eat millions to trillions of calories per day, which would introduce yet more problems: Their digestive system would have to function at supersonic speed--how high are their water bills? How do they afford to buy that much food? How do they cook it all?
