Did scientists find dark matter below ground?
It seems that they found it 2000 ft below the ground. Is this true?

Can you provide a source of the information?
[couldnt resist]
Actually; I can find dark matter anywhere under the ground. Unfortunately, once I dig it up, the sun makes it not dark anymore.

Put it in a box. That way it is dark again. The photos to prove you have it are pretty uninteresting tho

Please provide a reference.
If the WIMP hypothesis is correct, dark matter interacts only very weakly with normal matter, so it might be found anywhere within (or outside) the Earth, or inside your brain, for that matter....

So what is your question tommac?
If you read the article even the scientist that made the discovery say this
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-1250306/Traces-dark-matter-discovered-2-000-ft-ground.html
But he acknowledged the current evidence was not quite strong enough.
'With one or two events, it's tough,' he said. 'The numbers are too small.'
You want a definate yes or no answer?

No ... I am not sure what that would prove ... just wanted to hear what people on this forum thought.
