Hitting the End of Ice Images (set 1 of many)

Success
Last night community member RafaelG became the first person to have no more possible images to view in the Ice Investigators project. This is a truly awesome thing.

And today, many more of you followed in his footsteps!

We hadn’t anticipated this would happen as quickly as it did, and as a result, several of you have been hitting the “Image Loading” screen only to have nothing happen. Our awesome interface programmer, Joe Moore, is working as I type to fix that problem, and get a nice “You’re done” message up instead. (In fact, the image at right should be getting added).

Over the weekend, Ice Investigators science team member JJ Kavelaars will be working on processing a new round of images for us, and we’ll be adding them into the system as soon as we can. Our other team scientist, Marc Buie, just got back from travel, and once he’s settled back in at home, I hope to be able to start pushing out information on which objects that you’ve marked are real and which aren’t.

I have to say, it is really awesome that you guys finished the images faster than we had ever imagined.
